Tom Brookes
CEO
Tom is the CEO of the Meliore Foundation and a member of its Governing Board. In 2012, he founded the Global Strategic Communication Council (GSCC), building on his work as Executive Director of Strategic Communications at the European Climate Foundation (2009 - 2021). He is responsible for Meliore’s daily management.

Almuth is the COO and an Executive Manager of the Meliore Foundation. She is responsible for operational effectiveness including finance, people & culture, legal, IT, operations & development, and monitoring, evaluation & learning (MEL), as well as general administration.

EXECUTIVE MANAGER
Tim is an Executive Manager of the Meliore Foundation. He is responsible for the GSCC’s leadership team, as well as for relations between the network and the foundation. As a Meliore Executive Manager he works closely with the Executive and Advisory Boards and with the CEO and COO on the day-to-day running of the foundation.

Rianne is the Operations Director of the Meliore Foundation. She is responsible for the effective and efficient running of global operations, working directly with the managers of IT, finance and operations & development.

Casely is the People & Culture Director of the Meliore Foundation. He is responsible for the development and execution of the Human Resources strategy in line with our core values and provides oversight for recruitment, total rewards, performance management, talent management, learning & development and organisational development.

Elodie Cornez
LEGAL COUNSEL
Elodie is the Legal Counsel of the Meliore Foundation. She is responsible for handling and supervising all legal matters for Meliore and its programmes, in close collaboration with the Governing Board and Executive Managers, as well as the executive teams of Meliore’s programmes, notably the GSCC leadership team. Elodie also serves as Secretary to the Meliore Governing Board.

Alessandra Orofino
PRESIDENT
Alessandra is the President and a Governing Board member of the Meliore Foundation. She is a non-profit executive, writer, director and producer. In 2011, she launched NOSSAS, a Brazilian NGO focusing on digital and offline mobilisation which, in 2022, received the prestigious Skoll Award for Social Innovation. For the past seven years, Alessandra has also been the showrunner on the weekly hit comedy news show Greg News on HBO Latin America. Prior to that, she was a founding team member and head of the Brazil office at Purpose. In 2014, she spoke at the TED Global stage. In 2019, she was selected as a fellow by the Obama Foundation. Alessandra's thoughts have been published on international media outlets.

VICE PRESIDENT
Jay is the Vice President and a Governing Board member of the Meliore Foundation. He is an attorney practising at the intersection of law, public policy and philanthropy and has worked with hundreds of organisations including many leading foundations and advocacy groups over the last three decades. He has extensive experience in media, grassroots organising, legislative campaigns and elections for public office.

Donald Yeh
BOARD MEMBER
Donald is a Governing Board member of the Meliore Foundation. He is a partner at The Bridgespan Group and has worked with philanthropic and nonprofit organisations on strategy, operating models and organisational development. He has worked extensively with field-building and systems change organisations in climate, education and health. Donald previously served as head of Bridgespan’s Asia office. He has co-authored numerous publications on philanthropy. Donald joined Bridgespan from the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, and was previously a manager at Bain & Company. He earned an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, where he was a Siebel Scholar.
